I was inspired by the poem “When I Saw the Sea”
The Writing technique I practiced was using my senses and feelings to provide description.
I dedicate this poem to Compo Beach
when I was at the beach I had thought of the idea for my poem.
The title of my poem is called “Beach Joy”. Here it comes!
A glimmer’s shadow catches my eye
The sun explodes
I reach the sky
Higher, higher as I go
I smell beach waters down below
Hot sand beams with steam
Volcano eruption lava Steaming and beaming
I am running goodbye
As I leave beach memories that
beach
Joy is here
