Snow-worm

My dog, Shane, was a Snow-Worm.
When there was a huge snowstorm 2 years ago, he was a melted caramel, thrashing about in the diamond snow.
The squash of snow was light, and faint.
I was surprised that Shane could even breathe! I myself could barely walk.
Most of the snow was golden white, untouched, a still lake of beautiful, happy sorrow. But that lake had a rock thrown into it, my little Snow-Worm. Making thousands of ripples, Shane crashed into the Eternal Pond, in the Garden of Eden. A puddle of the juice of the Golden Apple, of Immortal Ambrosia.
But that Worm stopped that fairytale, that orange twang. He added a spank of citrus. I loved my dog, and I still do. He was the boing of the eye of newt, of daisy. My Snow-worm lives forever. Frosty, the icicle of a fudge pop, the fizz of perfect soda, the magic of the magic wand.
My dear Worm, frosty but not cold, Sad, but not unhappy, Never forgotten, but never remembered, My Snow-Worm, never forgotten, but never there.  He is my perfect chocolate magic, of a dog.
