100 Years to the Future!

"2012, here I come!" I said while packing my three things into bag on my way 100 years into the future. "And off we go!" I exclaimed as I took a great big step into the black and blue hole that led to 100 years into the future.
If I were to go 100 years into the future, the first thing I would bring would be a book because it might take a while in the portal to the future, and what if there are robots that don't speak English so I have to look up what they are saying? Also, what if I want to find out where the nearest doughnut shop is?
The second thing I would bring to the future would be my best friend, Hannah because what if the robots aren’t nice to me? Or I might get lonely on the way to the future and I want to talk to someone in the portal? Also, it is always nice to have a good friend by your side.
The last thing I would bring would be some snacks because I might get hungry on the way to the future, and I probably will not like the robot food which is probably gasoline. And, what if I am really hungry and I am in the middle if nowhere?
So if you went 100 years into the future, why wouldn’t you bring these things?

If I went to the future, this is what might happen before: “Where are you going little sister?” my sister Halley said. “The future” I said blandly with my eyes down at the controller of the time machine. “Alright, wait, what? Oh my gosh… hold on!” But it was too late. I had already hit the buttons to go 100 years to the future. “What am I going to tell mom? What is she going to say?” Halley said with all of these questions going through her mind while pacing back and forth in our living room. “Halley, I’m home!” My mother yelled from the front door. “Where is your sister?” my sister then mumbled, “Um… well, how should I put this, SHE IS GONE!” my sister yelped with little tears building up on her eye lids. And my mom didn’t even have time to react before I had flashed back through the hole I had disappeared into the first time. “ABBY!” Halley blurted out smiling with the tears rolling down her cheeks as tears of joy. “You came back! I thought I would never see you again!” “Of coarse I came back, and not only did I come back, but I came back with a Boston Crème` doughnut with chocolate frosting from the future!” I gleamed holding out the pink and black bag that held the doughnut. “Thanks little sis`.” Halley said with a sigh of relief and a small smile. “I brought max (our cat) with… Max… no, Max! I forgot Max! NO!”
