Halloween Frights

I’m not afraid of Halloween

It’s absolutely true

Except for maybe a couple things

Or should I say a few

The jack ‘o’ lanterns with scary faces

That stare from every door

Everywhere I try to look

 I get scared a little more

The ghosts that line the streets

Making noises everywhere,

Are another one of those things

That give me quite a scare

Vampires give me nightmares

And pop up in other dreams

And for some odd reason,

 They always end in screams

I see that you can say

 That I am scared of this night

But you might be hiding something

 That gives you a fright
