My Guide in Life
Every person in my family is like a puzzle piece. When you put us together you end up with a loving, caring, supportive family!

A big part of the puzzle is my MOM! She is a wonderful person who keeps my family going. When my mom’s not with my family it’s like the night sky with no stars, it’s like a classroom with no teacher! Without my mom my family wouldn’t be the way it is today!

My mom is the one who keeps me standing, the one whom I can trust, the one whom I don’t want to let go of! When I fall down, she’s there to lift me back up to tell me that everything’s going to be ok! My mom helps me in every way and I hope she never stops! I will always love my mom even when people think she’s crazy for having six kids!

My wonderful mom was born on October 27, 1968 in New York. She graduated from Fordham University in New York in 1990 the year she met my dad. She majored in communication and sociology. My parents met at a bar called “Bear Bar” in 1990 in January! But what they didn’t know was that soon they would have six maniacs destroying everything in sight! My dad proposed to my mom in a cabin at Lake Placid on a snowy day in the year 1994 four years after they met! They got married on April 29, 1995 in New Canaan, Connecticut!

My dad was born on August 6, 1995 in Canada! He grew up with four older brothers and an older sister and one younger brother! One of SEVEN! My dad graduated from Queens University in 1988!

My dad’s hobbies are…WORKING, spending time with his family, and playing outside!
My dad owns a website called “Three Jars”! My dad and his work are basically connected; when they’re separated they always find a way back together! They’re like ice cream and chocolate sauce; if they’re not together, then there’s a problem! My dad also loves the movie nights we have on Saturday night! We always choose comedy movies because my family LOVES to laugh! My dad is a nature guy. Ever since he was a little boy he’s been raised to play outside! This is because my grandpa (his dad) is a forester and has taught my dad a lot about nature!

When my dad goes to the store with my family when my mom’s away, he tries not to buy junk food especially chips. But when he sees the “buy one get one free sign” he’s lured in! I try to tell him “no” but he’s like Hansel and Gretel-Trapped!

Having three brothers and two sisters sounds crazy but I would never change my family even for all the money in the world! Even though I don’t get all the attention and all the toys, I have a family that cares for me and loves me and that’s most important!

My family is my guide in life. Without them I’d be lost!  There are a lot of ups and downs of having a big family but there are also privileges! I hope that one day I’ll be as amazing parents just like mine because writing this makes me realize how much they do for me! J
