Memories of Hurricane Irene

 I was done putting sand bags outside of my house,

My house was ready for hurricane Irene.

The next day I looked outside and found bamboo trees on the ground. Other trees were swaying rapidly. After Irene was gone, I went outside and saw huge branches and sticks covering the ground. Then I found out that a giant tree crushed my neighbor’s soccer goal. I also found out that 43 people died in hurricane Irene (2 in CT).
