Lights of December
The light shines as bright as a star
Shooting across the sky
I see it as a flame but
It’s really a roaring fire
The tiny flame casts a
Shadow across my face
The light that spreads a
Smile that never ends
These are the lights of the holidays
The lights of Christmas,
The lights of Hanukkah,
These are the lights of December
The lights of December
Are lights that shine all through
The night glowing with a flame
These are the lights of my life
