My Move To Connecticut

When my mom and dad told my sisters and me the news it was so shocking my sister started to cry and I started to tear a little too.  Connecticut I could not believe it! I was thinking how different it would be to live there.  Connecticut is so far from England.
I was about to speak, then I thought about the bright side. My grandmother lives there.  My aunts live there as do some of my uncles and cousins. Then I thought what if I don’t make any friends?  What if every one dislikes me? Then I sank low in my seat.
Emily, my sister, started to cry again. I felt like I was never going to see my friends or enjoy playing at school with my friends.  The next day was school. My mom said not to tell anyone and even though it was hard, I did it.
A couple of weeks later big mover trucks came and I was really sad because we were packing all my stuff up. The week before the end of school I told my friends I was moving. I was happy I told them, but still sad.
When I went home EVERYTHING was packed up.  My mom’s bed and our suitcases with our clothes for the summer were the only things left in the house.  I was really going to miss my friends, Scarlett and Madeline.  We were really close. I was also going to miss all my teachers at T.A.S.I.S.
Then I had one last sleepover with Scarlett, said my good byes and started to cry. I got in the car with my mom and we went to my house to say one last good bye.  My sister Emily was already in America, but we had to pick up my sister Caroline.  She was sleeping over at a friend’s house.  The next few days were very busy, then we went to London and got on a plane to come to America.
When we got to America it felt very strange being in Connecticut and knowing that this was my new home. It was really late and we had a driver pick us up. I fell asleep on the way to my new house when we got there we met our Dad.  I was really excited because I could go to bed with out being in the back of a driver’s car.  When I got home I was kind of hungry and so I had rushed out of the car and opened the fridge and got store bought sushi. I almost ate the whole thing of sushi, but my sisters came in and finished it.  After I ate my aunt and uncle came over and welcomed us to Connecticut left an hour later after that I went to bed.
